How long does it take for Joseph to create a piece of artwork?
There is no specific amount of time Joseph spends on any given piece. Each one of his pieces is unique. Many of Joseph’s smaller works can emerge in a few hours. In contrast, his larger pen & ink drawings can take weeks to complete. Joseph’s photographic works take him several months from conception to completion.
What or who has inspired Joseph?
Growing up much of Joseph’s life centered around water, storms, and marine life. He is influenced by adventures of simpler days on the family sailing yacht. These experiences helped Joseph develop a keen eye for exquisite curves. Joseph’s inspiration continues to grow. He continues to find himself attracted to surreal textures and tranquil values.
Does Joseph listen to anything while cultivating his artwork?
Joseph has an appetite for knowledge and an acquired taste for EDM or electronic dance music. While cultivating his works of art, Joseph often listens to music. Does Joseph have any advice for aspiring artists?
Joseph has always lived by a few mottos. One of his most influential ones is “Try it, you can do more than you think you can.”
Rather than sitting back and waiting for inspiration to strike. Get out there and try different mediums and different methods. Steal from others, see what works best for you, then fine-tune your unique style.
Never settle always push yourself to do better. Strive to seek growth, and always learn from your creative process. Above all else, captivate works of art that you wish to hang on your walls.
Does Joseph accept commissions?
Joseph does not accept commissions. He prefers to create original artwork out of his inspirations and personal visions.
Is Joseph’s original artwork for sale?

Does Joseph offer limited editions or reproductions of his originals?
The simple answer is yes. Not all artworks of Joseph’s are released as limited editions or reproductions.
Does Joseph offer open-edition reproductions?
The simple answer is no. Joseph has decided to create limited editions no larger than 200 Giclee prints.
Does Joseph’s artwork come with a certificate of authenticity?
Joseph values the importance of the provenance in a piece of art. Each piece from Joseph’s collection is signed and numbered. Certificate of Authenticity comes with both original and reproduction artwork.
Does Petry Fine Art help collectors with framing?
Joseph’s original works of art are ready to hang in a gallery setting. Joseph prefers framing to be simple and elegant, not distracting from his works. Petry Fine Art does not help collectors with choosing different frame selections. We ask that collectors support professional local framing shops. Professional framing shops understand the importance of archival materials in preserving artwork.
What are Petry Fine Art’s payment terms?
We accept all major debit and credit cards. Including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. For artwork purchased at a gallery or art festival, cash payment is also accepted.
Unfortunately, Petry Fine Art does not offer installment payment plans for our collectors. In the future, this may change. Before shipping all artwork must be paid in full.
What are the shipping options that Petry Fine Art offers?
Depending on the size of the piece, we ship either FedEx, UPS, or US Postal Service. Each piece of art is professionally and fully insured. We ensure your order arrives undamaged. Due to insurance company requirements. Deliveries must be inspected within 48 hours of receipt.
In the unlikely event, an original is damaged during delivery. We ask the buyer to photograph both the packaging and internal damage. Send the photographs to Joseph who will determine the best course of action to take. If the damaged artwork is a limited edition or reproduction. A replacement will immediately be placed into production. And a second delivery will be made.
Does Petry Fine Art ship internationally?
Petry Fine Art has decided to restrict their shipping to Canada and the United States. Collectors are responsible for all duties, taxes, customs, and fees imposed by the country where the work is delivered.
What is Petry Fine Art’s return policy?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all artwork that contains no damages or alternations with no questions asked when you buy online through the Petry Fine Art website. If you buy from one of our gallery sites or at an art festival, you buy the work “as is”.
